Pablo Jorge Studio is the trading name of Pablo Jorge, a UK-based sole trader. We provide graphic design services and sell prints and artwork. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

Information we collect

When you contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number, organisation, project brief and correspondence.

When you order from our shop, we collect information needed to manage your purchase, including your name, email, billing and delivery addresses, items ordered, transaction details and relevant communications. A telephone number may be requested for delivery purposes. If someone orders a gift for you, we receive your delivery details from that purchaser.

Our website and its providers also process technical information, such as IP address, browser and device details, security logs and, where enabled with the appropriate permission, information about pages visited and interactions with the site.

Payments are processed by [PAYMENT PROVIDER NAME(S) TO BE ADDED, WITH PRIVACY POLICY LINK(S)]. We receive payment status and transaction information rather than your complete payment-card number or security code.

Please do not send sensitive personal information unless we have specifically agreed a suitable way to receive it.

How and why we use information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

- Orders and requested services: to prepare quotes, take steps at your request before a contract, fulfil purchases, arrange delivery, provide customer service and handle returns. Our basis is performance of a contract or the steps requested before entering one.

- General and business enquiries: to respond and maintain relevant professional correspondence. Where this is not preparation for a contract with you personally, we rely on our legitimate interest in communicating with customers and business contacts.

- Records and legal responsibilities: to keep accounting records and comply with tax and other legal obligations.

- Security and disputes: to protect the website and business, investigate misuse or fraud, and establish or defend legal claims. We rely on our legitimate interests in secure and responsible business operations, balanced against your rights.

- Optional analytics and marketing: where offered, to understand website use or send updates you have requested, based on your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time. Buying an item or sending an enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to a mailing list.

If you do not provide the information necessary to fulfil an order or requested service, we may be unable to provide it.

Who receives information

We share only relevant information with providers needed to operate the business, including:

- Squarespace, which hosts this website and supports its forms and shop;

- the payment provider(s) identified above;

- postal and courier companies handling your delivery;

- professional advisers, such as an accountant, where needed; and

- public authorities where disclosure is required by law.

Some providers, including payment services and carriers, also process information under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information.

International processing

Some providers process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where legally required, transfers must be covered by an appropriate UK adequacy arrangement or recognised contractual safeguards. Squarespace explains its arrangements in its privacy policy. Contact us if you would like information about the safeguards applicable to your data.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for its purpose:

- Enquiries that do not lead to work or a purchase: normally up to 12 months after the last substantive contact.

- Essential tax and accounting records: at least five years after the 31 January filing deadline for the relevant tax year, or longer where legally required.

- Other information needed to resolve contractual disputes: normally up to six years after the relevant contract ends, where necessary and proportionate.

- Marketing subscriptions, if offered: until you unsubscribe or we stop the service. We may retain a minimal suppression record to respect your choice not to receive marketing.

- Cookie and analytics information: for the durations identified in the cookie information below.

We may retain relevant records longer where a legal obligation or active dispute requires it. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed.

Your rights and complaints

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct or erase your information, restrict its use, receive certain information in a portable format, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. These rights are subject to legal conditions; for example, tax records may need to be retained.

Email Pablo Jorge Studio to make a request or raise a concern. We normally respond to rights requests within one month, subject to lawful extensions or pauses, and may request reasonable information to verify your identity.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small pieces of information stored on your device. We use essential technologies to provide functions such as security, shopping baskets and remembering cookie choices. Optional technologies, where enabled, may help us understand website use or provide additional features.

These terms cover use of our website and consumer purchases of physical prints and artwork. Our Delivery & Returns policy forms part of the shop terms. Graphic design projects and bespoke commissions are subject to a separate agreed proposal and contract. These shop terms do not replace that agreement.

Portfolio and intellectual property

The portfolio presents work by Pablo Jorge, including projects completed in previous employment or in collaboration with others, as identified in the relevant project credits. Copyright and other rights may belong to Pablo Jorge Studio, former employers, clients, photographers or other contributors.

You may view the website for personal reference and to consider our services. Except where permitted by law, you must not reproduce, adapt, distribute or commercially use its artwork, images, text or designs without permission from the relevant rights holder.

Buying a physical print or artwork does not transfer copyright or grant a right to reproduce it. It does not prevent lawful resale of the physical item.

Product descriptions

Product listings describe the item, dimensions, materials and any included framing or mounting. Frames and other styling accessories are not included unless the listing expressly says they are.

We aim to show colours accurately, but screens and lighting can affect their appearance. Any expected variation arising from handmade or individual production will be explained where relevant. This does not limit your rights if an item is faulty or materially different from its description.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Pablo Jorge Studio is not currently VAT registered and does not charge UK VAT. Delivery charges are shown separately before you place an order, or agreed in advance for a quoted overseas order.

Payment methods available for your order are shown at checkout or in the agreed quotation. Payment must be made in full before dispatch unless we expressly agree otherwise.

If we identify a pricing error or cannot fulfil an order, we will contact you promptly. Before acceptance, we will offer a correction for your agreement or cancel and refund the payment. We will not charge a higher price without your agreement.

Orders

Please check your items, selected sizes and delivery details before ordering. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt of your order; acceptance takes place when we send a dispatch confirmation or a separate email expressly accepting it.

If we cannot accept your order, we will explain and refund any payment promptly. Once accepted, we will not change the agreed terms without your agreement. You can withdraw an order before acceptance, and your cancellation rights after acceptance are set out in Delivery & Returns.

Delivery and returns

Please read our Delivery & Returns page before ordering. It explains delivery arrangements, international quotations, cancellation rights, refunds and faulty goods. The cancellation policy applies to online purchases; it is not a promise of change-of-mind returns for purchases made in person at markets.

Our responsibilities

Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for any purpose agreed with us and as described. We remain responsible for delivery until you or a person you nominate takes physical possession, except where the law provides otherwise for a carrier independently commissioned by you.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits your statutory rights, liability for fraud, or liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where we breach the contract, your legal remedies remain available.

We will investigate and seek a fair resolution. Photographs can help us assess a damaged item, but are not a condition of exercising your statutory rights.

Applicable law and changes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections or rights to bring proceedings in their home jurisdiction where applicable.

We may update these terms for future use. The version agreed when your order was placed applies to that order unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.

Delivery & Returns

UK delivery

We dispatch prints and artwork from the United Kingdom. Available delivery services, charges and any location restrictions are displayed before purchase.

Dispatch time: 2-3 working days.

Estimated delivery after dispatch: 3-5 working days.

Different lead times for pre-orders or specially prepared items will be stated before ordering. Unless we agree otherwise, we will deliver within 30 days of accepting your order.

Items are packed to protect them in transit. If tracking is included in your chosen service, we will provide the details when available.

Delivery outside the UK

International delivery is available by prior quotation only, subject to destination and carrier availability.

Delivery costs outside the UK are to be confirmed before you order. They depend on the destination, parcel size and weight, overseas carrier charges and applicable customs arrangements. Please email Pablo Jorge Studio with the artwork, size, quantity and delivery country/postcode so we can obtain a quote.

We will confirm the delivery charge and estimated timescale for your agreement before taking the order. Please do not place an overseas order until these arrangements have been agreed.

Import VAT, customs duties and carrier customs-clearance or handling fees may be charged by the destination authorities or carrier. Unless our quotation expressly includes them, these charges are not included in our product or delivery prices and are payable by the recipient where applicable. We will explain the charging arrangement before you order; where the amount cannot reasonably be established in advance, we will make this clear. Customs processing may extend delivery times. Mandatory consumer rights continue to apply.

Delayed, missing or damaged deliveries

Contact Pablo Jorge Studio if an order is late, missing or arrives damaged. We will investigate with the carrier and provide the appropriate remedy. You do not have to pursue the carrier yourself instead of contacting us.

For damage, please retain the packaging if possible and send photographs to help the investigation. Failure to provide photographs or retain packaging does not remove your statutory rights.

If we miss an agreed delivery deadline, your rights to require delivery within an appropriate additional period or to end the contract and obtain a refund remain unaffected. In some circumstances, including an agreed essential delivery date, you may be entitled to cancel without allowing extra time.

Changing your mind: 14-day cancellation

For standard prints and artwork bought online, you may cancel without giving a reason from the time you order until the end of 14 days after the day you, or someone you nominate other than the carrier, receives the goods. For goods in one order delivered separately, the period generally runs from receipt of the last item.

To cancel, email Pablo Jorge Studio or write to Pablo Jorge Studio, 2 Faunce Street, London SE17 3TR, United Kingdom, with a clear statement that you wish to cancel. Including your order number will help us locate the purchase. You may use the cancellation form below, but this is optional. Sending your cancellation before the deadline is sufficient; you do not need to wait for our approval.

After cancelling, send the goods back without undue delay and within 14 days of telling us.

Return condition and postage

You may inspect the goods as you would reasonably be able to in a shop. Please handle artwork carefully and use the original protective packaging where possible, or suitable equivalent packaging. Original packaging and an unopened condition are not absolute requirements for exercising your cancellation right.

For change-of-mind returns, you pay the direct return-postage cost. We recommend obtaining proof of posting. Tracked postage is recommended, not compulsory. If we offer goods that cannot normally be returned by post, we will disclose the return cost or an appropriate estimate before purchase.

We may deduct the actual loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, where the law allows. We do not charge a restocking or cancellation fee.

Refunds

For cancellation of a whole order, we refund the item price and the cost of our least expensive standard outbound delivery option. Any extra amount paid for an express or premium service is not refundable under the change-of-mind policy. For partial returns, any delivery refund is assessed under the applicable rules and the delivery charges for the items retained.

We refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the returned goods or evidence that you sent them back, whichever is earlier. We may withhold reimbursement until that point unless we have offered to collect the goods. If we have offered collection, reimbursement is due within 14 days after being informed of cancellation. If goods have not been dispatched, we refund within 14 days of your cancellation.

Refunds use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, without a refund fee. Charges paid separately to customs authorities or third-party carriers are not payments we received; any recovery of those charges is subject to their rules and your applicable legal rights.

Personalised and genuinely bespoke items

The statutory change-of-mind cancellation right does not generally apply to goods made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised. We will identify any such item and explain the exception before purchase.

A standard print is not excluded merely because it is printed after ordering or selected from our normal size options. Sale items and non-personalised limited editions retain the usual online cancellation rights. Faulty-goods rights apply to bespoke and personalised items too.

Faulty, incorrect or misdescribed goods

The change-of-mind deadlines do not limit your rights when goods are faulty, damaged on arrival, incorrect or not as described.

Under UK consumer law, you normally have a short-term right to reject non-conforming goods for a refund within 30 days of delivery. After that, repair or replacement rights, and in appropriate circumstances a price reduction or refund, may apply. Contact us so we can arrange the appropriate remedy and pay reasonable return costs where required. We do not impose a 48-hour reporting deadline or require original packaging for a faulty-goods claim.
